Coffee Shop

This was the first serious live portrait I did. My "Local Grampa" took me to starbucks and sat patiently for a very long 45minutes while I worked on this. He was such a willing subject, constantly asking if he was holding still enough. The way we worked it out was he brought a magazine, and whilst he read the right page I drew his face, and I drew his shirt when he turned his head away to read the left page!
